Chrome OS gets new look on Sign In page

We’ve been expecting a new look for the sign in page in Chrome OS devices since about March, and after an update to my Asus C302 in the Beta Channel, I now have that new look.



It’s nothing groundbreaking but it is strikingly different.

Here’s what the sign in page looks like on my Asus Chromebox:

As you can see, Google has dropped the box with the white background behind the profile picture, and the greyish bar at the bottom in favor of a transparent look.



Signing in still works as you would expect of course, there’s no new functionality, being added or removed, just a change in UI.
