Google+ Post Editor

Chrome Extension Brings Simple Post Formatting to Google+

That’s right, you no longer have to remember which symbols to use to make something bold, italic, or strikethrough.

Simple add this extension to your Google Chrome browser, and according to the makers, wait a few seconds and voila, your posts will now have a few buttons it didn’t have before. (I actually had to close down my Google+ tab and reopen it to see the buttons. Refreshing didn’t work. Maybe I just didn’t wait long enough).

It doesn’t work quite like most word processors, you won’t click the bold button, type your text, then un-click it. Instead, you’ll type your text, highlight it, and click the bold button.

Here’s a gif that shows you what it looks like, and how it works.

Also, don’t click the “Post Editor” button. It just takes you to a page talking about the extension.
